This policy covers the marketing website at screendesk.io, operated by SCREENDESK SAS. The product application, blog, Trust Center, booking tools and other linked services have their own technical context and may present separate choices. This site's choice is not a blanket consent for those services. See the Privacy Policy for personal-data rights and contact details.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small browser files. Local storage can also remember information on your device. Tags and scripts may send information without setting a cookie; that does not automatically make them exempt from privacy rules. We distinguish necessary functions from optional measurement.
2. Necessary functions
We use hosting and security functions needed to deliver pages safely. We store your cookie preference in your browser as screendesk-cookie-choice-v1, including your choice and its date, for up to six months. This preference does not identify you to an advertising network. If storage is unavailable, your choice can apply for the current page session but may not persist.
Our application uses separate authentication and session technologies when you sign in. A marketing-site preference does not disable security or authentication needed for services you request.
3. Optional analytics
With your consent, this website loads Google Analytics and Screendesk's related funnel measurements, Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. They help us understand page visits, interactions and website performance. They may receive information such as the page URL, browser or device characteristics, timing and interaction events. We limit the URL parameters sent by our own measurement code and do not intentionally send recording content to website analytics.
Google Analytics uses identifiers such as _ga and _ga_*. Our marketing configuration limits those cookies to approximately 13 months without refreshing their expiry on each visit. Browser storage duration is different from the provider's server-side retention. Vercel's measurement products describe their methods in their own documentation; we still gate them under the analytics choice here.
Providers: Google's data policy and Vercel's privacy policy. We do not run an advertising pixel on this marketing website as part of this implementation.
4. Support and third-party content
Our support messenger is loaded when you choose to open chat, rather than on the initial page visit. Intercom uses technologies needed to provide and remember the conversation you request. It may use identifiers such as intercom-id-*, intercom-session-* and intercom-device-id-*; their durations depend on its configuration. Its cookie information explains these technologies. You may contact support@screendesk.io instead of using chat.
Opening an external booking tool, video or other embedded third-party experience may connect to that provider. Review the notice presented there. Necessary technologies for a requested function must not be reused for unrelated optional tracking without an appropriate legal basis.
5. Make or change a choice
Use Accept analytics, Reject analytics or Customize in the consent notice. Necessary functions continue to work if you refuse. Customize lets you set the analytics preference and save it. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time, accept or refuse, and withdraw as easily as you agreed.
Withdrawal stops future optional measurement on this website. We remove accessible Google Analytics cookies associated with this site's domains and reload when needed to stop scripts already loaded. Browser controls can remove other stored information. Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing or automatically delete information already held by a provider; contact us to exercise applicable rights.
Preferences are browser- and device-specific and expire after six months. Clearing browser storage may make us ask again. You can also block or delete cookies through browser settings; blocking necessary cookies can affect features you request.
